Tyne Tunnel 2k 2006

Another successful race through the Tyne Tunnel, with speeds up to 44mph reached on the downhill - making for good TV coverage in the NE.  Shelly Woods chased down Daine Roy on the climb out of the tunnel to take victory in the women's race.  And in the men's race, Kurt Fearnley climbed at a speed many would be happy to reach on the flat, and pulled away to an excellent win over Tushar Patel.
